I have a copy of that book, its one of the better books out there on what really goes on in a knife attack. :eek:
I agree with much of what he says in the book. Our opinions differ on some things, but overall, it's a good read.

I agree with Jimid! It is a good read, but not the definitive word on edged attacks. Take it for what it is worth and enjoy!:D

That's what I was thinking when I read the ad. Even if it isn't, once the buyer puts the book into publication, the price would have to be $30 a copy TOPS. That's well over 4000 copies just to break even. I don't see it happening.

He complicates knife fighting a bit more than it really needs to be. I realize the guy had to fill a book and all, but he really could have boiled it down more.
One major problem that I had with his book was that he stated that few attackers hold the knife in an ice-pick grip. I've seen many attacks, and a great number of them occurred with the knife held in an ice pick grip.
