Hi Sharp1,

Aww shucks. Thanks for thinkin' of me!

You're right. I've been meaning to share my 2 cents on the fixed blade Lum but I've been "under the weather". Those of you healthy folks, beware. This bug is a mean one. A persistent, hacking cough for a few weeks, then a bad head cold, then more coughing and chest congestion. Antibiotics? Nope. They won't work on this one. Strong _prescribed_ cough medicine, antihistamine, and lots of juices and vitamin C and this this is still hanging around.

Anywho, Sharp1, you've coaxed me out of my "sick bed". I'll be posting pics soon and providing a short but sweet write up on the fixed blade Lum.

Safari? You bet! Ha! Who needs a gun with _this_ thing strapped to your belt!

*sniffles*coughs* Ok, back to bed...

"Hope for the best. Be prepared for the worst. You'll never be disappointed."

Thanks, everyone.

Samo, thanks for the warm wishes. I hope your recovery is making progress.

Wow, J Smith, you've had it longer than me. Hope you get rid of it soon.

Ruxton, thanks for the wishes from across the Atlantic.

Sharp1, the Lum sure is pretty. After I posted last night, I just had to take mine out of the drawer to admire it. Very clean lines and "artistic". Well, more on that later. Thanks again, guys.
