View Full Version : FB03 - Lum Fixed Blade
Awesome knife IMO, and that micarta finish is great. Should make a great tactical outdoors knife. Opinions?!

When I was younger I always coveted a CS Master Tanto. Considering that Bob Lum created the "american tanto," this one is the real thing -- all due respect to CS of course.

This looks like an amazing knife. I can't wait to get my hands on one. I have wanted a tanto for a long time.

Held the proto sometime ago. Great balance and good footing! The Lum FB makes an excellent tactical knife!

Ryan, It is the BEST spyderco so far IMHO. It has a special vibe of strength, beauty, rich design, balance and functionality. My local knife dealer, who is a bit jaded I suppose, called me to have me come down and get it. He warned me that it would "knock my socks off!". It did. Got Socks?
Can you imagine this knife in Blue Micarta, or red? I'd be barefoot forever then....

I saw the FB Lum at www.beckscutlery.com today. Very nice. I really like it. I know its suppose to be a user, but it just seems to nice for work.

It is a modern classic in design and excellently crafted. IMO, it competes with customs. Bob Lum is to be congratulated and appreciated.

It's a real beauty, from the picture anyway. It's been in my dreams of late.

Received my FB03 last week, can't leave it in the box. A thing of beauty is a joy forever. Thanks Sal and Bob Lum, it feels like it was made just to fit my hand. Collector # 47.
Saw and handled one at the SFO Friday and this is one beauty of a piece of steel. Without a doubt the sweetest tanto grind I've ever seen! The sheath though?
