Dear Fellow Forumites:

It has been a while since I have been able to get on the forum and the reason is the same one you have been hearing for some time now. I have too much to do and not enough time to do it. Some of you have suggested that I get assistance in moderating, and some have even offered, for which I thank you. I decided to follow your suggestions

and get some assistance in moderatoring the general forum on Blade Forums and the general and tekno forums on Spyderco's site.

Please welcome Carlos as an official Spyderco moderator. He has been a regular contributor to the forums for quite some time and is very knowledgeable about knives and especially Spyderco. His comments are always well thought out and factual, and I have been impressed with his ability to answer the technical questions as well. I know he will do a great job for all of us. With Carlos assisting in the moderating you will get your answers in a timely fashion instead of waiting for me to get back in town or out of a 7 day string of meetings. It will also give me more time to read all of the posts and answer those questions that I may be the only one with the info.

Joyce will continue as a moderator as well as Bram Frank and Michael Janich, who have been doing a great job with the MBC forum, will continue with that responsibility.

I would like to thank all of you for your participation on the forums. I really appreciate all your support. I enjoy the forums and will continue to visit them as often as I can, but this will take some of the pressure off of me to cover it all. Thank you for your kind understanding.

Congrats Carlos, I know you'll do well. Excellent choice, too.

Thanks to Joyce, Bram & Michael for their continued support and moderation of the Forums.

Sal, your ever-presence will be missed. I am sure Carlos will do his best to "fill your shoes" on the forum.

Hi Lsaulog,

I won't be replacing Sal, just assisting. Sal will still be moderating too.

Carlos,

So you've joined the establishment have you . Happens to all revolutionaries eventually, just like the hippies back in the 60's. I will expect you to return your "troublemakers" badge and T-shirt ASAP.

BTW congratulations .

Sal, your scaled-back involvement with the forums was inevitable (I don't know how you found the time to read and respond to the numerous posts). Thank you for your presence past and future (you, too, Joyce). I think we can all take comfort that now you can spend more time designing more/new Spydies for us. Good choice for your forum assistant. Congratulations Carlos. Good news all around!

Congrats Calos.
Although I still think "moderator" is the wrong word for you chaps, "mates" is probably more apt.

Being the freindliest forum I've ever been on at least you wont have to put up with too many trouble makers. Although we will try and keep your life interesting

Congratulations Carlos. Maybe you can now work on Sal to open a Spydie office with store in the Boston area... lol.

Ya know Clay,

Funny thing is that if I attempt make trouble now, it is considered "helpful suggestions."
