My FB favourites, seeing as I have just bought them..............:D
Excuse the poor photography but I'm just a beginner..............
I WILL get better...........!!! ;)

The second shot shows one of my new Derespinas, bought thru Rich himself.........they are outsize!?
Made by FOX in Italy but there seems to have been some misunderstanding between U.S measurements and Metric measurements. I got them 'cos Rich offered them at a, to my mind, ridiculously cheap price (not that I'm complaining!)...........I have the normal-sized versions on order as well.

Wonderful balance to them both............I hope y'all like the bandage on my finger, the other Kerambit, the striped one, did that! I've managed to cut fingers on both hands with both knives; you can feel a bit foolish when you suddenly notice blood on the floor and didn't even notice the cut, that's how sharp they are!!!!
The cuts just add to the other scars, the knives now being truly christened.

BRIAN

Firstly let me say you have good taste in knives. May I ask were the razels a custom order made to your specs. Richard sure makes a mean karambit, and at a price point that no one can match. I believe his model 10 to be the best k-bit for the price and these current collaboration with fox sure will sell like hot cakes.
good luck on your fixed blades accumulation, and when you get a chance grab a la Griffe now that is one FB everyone should have.
take care

Unfortunately no, they were acquired thru a dealer...........I was after another Razel but he offered me the carbon fibre-handled one above, The tanto was already on my list.
I'm really ater a custom order but the Graham Brothers have not been taking orders for a number of months now - I remain on their list of people wanting to buy. A case of a small Maker being TOO popular............ Knife-makers should all be so lucky.
They have a real interesting line of Folders now as well (see below) which I am also keen to get.

I just saw those folders for the first time earlier today on their forum and I love the tanto black one. I think a lot of razels and other gems will be popping up after blade when everyone sees their CC bills and the wife's crazy look when they come back from Atlanta:D.
Your right about the wait time on some makers. Great ones won't deal with you directly, or they wont take orders and if they do the wait is years and years. I'm currently waiting 6 years for a knife . I think I might lose interest in about 3 :p
I need instant gratification ;)

Hi Brian,
Congrats on your new fine knives. I am particualrily fond of the utilitarian karambit (the one with a big bellied blade).

Hey thanx for the comments guys............
It's interesting to my mind at least, that there is a lack of custom knives around at the moment apart from some grossly over-priced examples, I've commented on this before.
As you may have gathered I prefer the "industrial" Bauhaus approach to knife design and build, even the Kerambits are very functional in their layout and approach. Thankfully fantasy knives are NOT my liking.
Being an Engineer by background, and a Supply Chain Manager by career, the sheer engineering excellence of most if not all of the Spyderco designs is what attracted me to them to start with. That doesn't mean I like all designs, I don't, so there are some that I will never ever bother with.
My increasing interest in certain Custom designs is just a parallel to my Spydie obsession in that simplicity and excellence of design, build and function leads me in certain directions.
I welcome recommendations to look at other Designers/Builders/Makers.....there is no way one man can know everyone that may stimulate those hidden taste buds! :D:D;);)
I also promise to take a far better set of close-up images in a week or three, work permitting, and may have a couple of really nice Busse GW's to add to the little one I have right now.
I have one custom on order from Jens Anso, a hell of a nice guy to communicate with, one couldn't have asked for a more clear and rapid resolution to what I was looking for.............I should see it in 12-18 months time! ;)
I'm not sure, in fact I'm almost certain that I will have to order more from him prior to even receiving the first one, such is obsession............:p

nice knives!! Those razels have had me drooling since I first saw them. Unfortunately the wait for a custom would drive me up the wall so I try to keep them out of my mind. Every once in a while someone posts a pic here or there and it gets me going again.;)

Sorry dialex I meant say earlier, the pot-bellied one is a sheer delight to handle, cuts like a dream and is so well balanced she feels like a feather.
I could see being in the Bush/Desert with this knife.
I also meant to say how much I've enjoyed looking at your concept knives, very interesting and stimulating! ;)

BRIAN
