I have been looking at the HK Benchmade Axis 14205. It looks sweet. Any of you folks have experience with this particular model?

No experience with that particular model...
But now that I'm looking at it... I think I want one. :D:rolleyes:
But,
I have a Griptilian and a a 5000s... I really like both. I like the Axis lock on it too. Very sturdy, and makes a pretty loud "Click" when it locks.
The Griptilian is smooth as a babies rear end, opening and closing
Hope that helps

Hey Knifebros, Have it ... very ROBUST Knife ;). I carry it in my patrol backpack as a backup when I'm On-Duty. The blade is 154CM steel, Solid Lockup, Razor Sharp, Smooth Opening .... Again, A Really Solid Knife!!! I believe you would be getting yourselves a very good knife. The only thing I wasn't really pleased with, is the G-10 scales. For some reason, BM smoothed out the scales and they're not as grippy as G-10 should be. Still a decent grip, but I prefer a little bit grippier ;). If ya have any questions, send me a PM. I'll answer what I can for you. Take Good Care and Be Safe Always.
God Bless :)

well I can say I am not a fan of BM 154CM, its very soft and chips and bends easily. I had this problem with the 710, good thing they went to D2 now.

I've actually handled a few at the local Sporting Goods stores. They are nice. Never fired one though. My Glock suits me just fine. I was just curious, that's all.:);)

Hey Knifebros, To answer a few of the questions ... My HK USP Is AWSOME ;)!!! Never had a malfunction with it since I got it. Shoots SUPER ACCURATE, Easy to disassemble and assemble for cleaning. It's funny to "Dry-Fire" it ... Sounds Like A BB Gun :D.
Back to the accuracy. During one of my AR-15 qualifications, we were practicing transition from AR-15 to sidearm. After the qualifcation was over, the instructor said to go ahead and finish off the rest of our practice ammo and to shoot at random from the 100 yard line. Everyone was firing the AR-15s and I transitioned to my HK. The instructor laughed and stated that I wouldn't hit the target from that distance. "You Wanna Bet"??? The instructor called out to stop firing to the rest of the crew. He put me on the spot and stated "OK, Let's See This".
I Pulled the HK from my holster ... "Double Tap" ... "Zap Zap"??? The instructor, some of the guys and I walked down to the target ... two rounds to the head :D. HK accuracy is AMAZING. The old firearms instructor doesn't say much to me anymore :p.
I tried out a GLOCK, but it just wasn't comfortable in my hand for some reason??? The grip felt to small for me. If you take the HK and GLOCK apart and compare them side by side ... they're very similar in comparison.
There is only one other gun that I have that is a bit more accurate than my HK ... That's My 9mm Baby Eagle. SS barrel with "polygonal rifling". WOW, super accurate. I don't carry it though, because it's all steel construction and just weighs too much on the hip . The thing is a TANK and built BOMB PROOF (made in Israel ;)). Again, If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask. Take Good Care All and Be Safe Always.
God Bless :)
