Is the Lum Fixed Blade considered an MBC style knife (i.e. tactical fixed blade) or is is it purely utilitarian.

It's listed as a outdoor/hunting/fishing knife in the catalog. In MY opinon it would work fairly well in the MBS setting except it would need more of a guard for thrusting manuvers. It would not make my best choice for utiltary applications.MBC knives have certian charestics and I'm not sure it was designed to flow with those type of requirments.Great question I have had the same thought as well.Must be because I'm From Indiana as well.

I agree, needs more of a ramp on blade and a finger choil(?).
