Get this folks, this morning I'm getting some antifreeze for my car, driving home I spill coffee on my hand, hot, and after the ten minute drive home, quite sticky. I wash my hands at home and dry them, and go back out to my car to put the stuff in my car, I opened the seal with my Native, holding the knife, in the normal position, and the clip froze to the palm of my hand. Being the great intellect that I am, I simply remove the knife from my hand, needless to say, I have a nice little mark in the shape of the Spyderco pocket clip on my right hand.

Reminds me of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" except that the guy got burnt with heat.
Make sure you get the other side of the Spydie mark as well, just in case you go to SpyderLand to find the Ark of the Spyder.

I was thinking more "Home Alone" myself, but being compared to Indiana Jones is a good ego booster.
"Snakes, I hate snakes..."
LOL! Yes, I can see how that is. Just remember that Indy is not the one with the mark on his hand, although, we can ignore that little detail.
Your Spydie belongs in a museum, btw. Any strange glyphs on it?

The only thing that might qualify as strange is the #151 on the blade next to the thumb hole.

Hmmm... did it come with a treasure map? It might be the number of steps to take to the "X" (oh, that's the third movie, forget it...)

It did come with a map. It leads straight back to the store I got it from to get more.

Uh-oh... follow your destiny, my good man...

Hey Brian... have you ever put your tongue on a metal flag pole or fence pole in the dead of winter? (NOT!!!) By the way... a few drops of that antifreeze would have removed your hand with the skin. But then I'm a better coach... I got frostbite on my thumb from taking a bunch of pictures without my glove on while winter backpacking in the mountains.

LOL to all!
Sorry to hear about your misfortune, Brian. Just think, it could have been worse!

Now have we learned anything boys and girls?
We learned... "to use duct tape to cover our knife clip to avoid donating some skin to it in freezing weather."

... the two most useful items I own... Spydies and duct tape...

My brother likes to say that duct tape is one of the lesser known universal elements.
That and Corona.
"Fizzlesnits"
Yuk! Corona, ugh! (take this from a Mexican). Try Bohemia or Indio (dark), they are MUCH better. Corona is not one of the preferred beers in its native country, makes you wonder why...
So, duct tape, right? My SS Native is at "rest" during the winter, I am now carrying my Calypso Jr. Lwt. due to similar feelings about the mix of cold weather and steel.

Bless you my good woman. You have converted me to the path of true beer, but now I can never go back to the old ways, oh well.

Q. Why is duct tape like the "Force"?
A. It's light on one side, dark on the other and holds the Universe together.
I did a search while I was trying to remember that joke (still not sure if I got it right) and found this site http://www.octanecreative.com/ducttape/. Check it out, it's hilarious.
