A few weeks ago, I picked up a Spyderco Endura for daily carry. Later on, I discovered that the Endura is illegal for me to carry - as it has a 3.75&quot; blade length (legal length is 3.5&quot<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>. While I love the Endura, I think the Delica is too small for my tastes, and I ended up getting a Benchmade 550 Griptilian (barely legal.)

I don't suppose I could talk Spyderco into making a folder that is 3.499&quot; long? :D

Spyderco has lots of wonderful selections with blade lengths from 3 to 3.5 inches. Check around. Surely you can find a perfect Spydie for your legal cary needs.

Welcome to the forums meldroc.

In the land of knives, Spyderco is king.

Hi Meldroc. Welcome to our forum. Benchmade makes a good knife. In Denver, you are really better off not using any knife for self defense unless there is absolutely no alternative.

You are also correct about size. If the size of a knife in Denver is over limit, it becomes an illegal concealed weapon and could move the charges to attempted murder.

When I'm travelling in Denver, I prefer a 3&quot; blade. If a knife is sharp, size matters little.
