It appears as though both Sal and Carlos agreed to consider a Forum 2002 Shirt. Who would like one, and what should the graphics include?
I'll take one, and any dark color, short or long sleeve is cool.Should say Spyderco Forum 2002, plus have the bug logo somewhere. Images of discontinued blades a great idea.

Yep, count me in! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
I think a blue and gold 'bug' on the front and the word SPYDERCO on the back would be sweet. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> Of couse, maybe throw in something about the Forum and 2002. I like colors such as: white, light grey, navy blue, and "burnt" red. A black shirt will work, too. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
I just gotta get one.....<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Let us know when they come out!

I have enough regular T-shirts. I would like this one to be a polo/golf style shirt. Many of the mentioned designs in a previous thread would still work on this type of shirt.
But no matter what the final outcome is, count me in for at least 1.

I'd like one, darker colors please (tend to get lighter colors dirty) oh yeah please offer a double x-large. Small logo on front, large on back.

I think it should be a polo type shirt because Spyderco doesn't sell polos, they just have regular tshirts.

Agreed, polo would be nice. I'm in for at least two. The problem with a polo is production cost is obviously a concern.
Silk-screened t-shirts would also work. A buttoned t-shirt would be better. Short-sleeved.
Of course, the Spydie logo should be embroidered along with "Spyderco Forum 2002" or whatever is agreed upon. Dark color such as black or navy blue would be nice.
How about a spyder web incorporating the logo similar to the cover of the 2002 catalog?

I had a thought about Spyderco giving a "shirt" away once a month. It could also be a hat or a Ladybug-Ladybug II or Jester. These all would cost Spyderco about the same money. Spyderco could write them off (taxes) for advertising. The shirts and hats would be more advertising obviously.
You could get people to post in the forum to enter. If you win, your name gets deleted so there are no multiple winners. The only problem is getting someone to organize the drawing and keeping track with all the details.
Sal, Carlos and Joyce... whatta you think?
Any comments... suggestions?

Sounds promising. I especially like the idea of getting a Spydie from Golden! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Or there could be a design contest for the shirt. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> And the winner gets a shirt and a choice of any Spyderco knife <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> :-D

I'm in for at least two shirts. I'd prefer a Polo Shirt, in any color, but would also definately buy two Forum Tee Shirts, if they were offered.
Thanks!

Looks like two threads are not better than one. ooops. Anyway, this idea has momentum. Who will tally and decide when it is a go? Carlos? Lots of cool images and concepts floated....
Two Spydie forum t-shirts for me too - please.
I'd like a nice large design on the back & wee bug logo on the front would be cool.

Lemme know what you guys decide on for a final design. Any design, any color. I'm in for two. (Maybe more if it is a Polo Shirt...)

It seems that the polo shirt is a fairly popular idea. I am all for a dark blue/black/green polo with gold embroidery.
Anything happening with these yet?

I'll take at least 2 t-shirts, but a polo would be nicer. I could wear that to work.
And what ever happened to the cloissen pin idea (month or two back)? I'm still very revved up for that.

Shirts would be cool. I like very smple things, so I'd choose one with a very discrete line. Something dark, preferably black. Maybe a small golden bug embroided on the sleeve and pocket, if it's a polo, and as an extravagance, also a small bug on the collar, but at the back.
Also welcome other stuff - like the pins someone was talking about some time ago.
About the contest... it's a cool idea. I've been thinking of an annual prize consisting of a spidie at your choice, to be given to the "<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Forum's person of the year", elected by the fellows forumites by open vote. I think that this would be much more motivating than just a drawing based merely on luck - or hazard <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>.
Count me in!!
I'd prefer black or a dark blue with gold bug and lettering. T-shirt style is just fine.
