I haven't forgotten you Wouter. I have something white with a piece of spotted steel sitting on my desk. You know the only thing I own that is white are my socks. Ten minutes with a tooth brush and hot soap and water and I have returned this piece to WHITE. I had to clean my bench, and wash my hands several times before reassembly. You will just have to keep breathing until Sept. 17-18 when we will be passing Den Haag. Hopefully we can at least have lunch....Take Care...Ed

Thanks a lot for the birthday wishes guys, I needed it. You see, my grandfather (my last grandparent) has passed away last wednesday and that has certainly put a dampener on my happy-birthday-feeling so to speak. Apart from the grief, we all have to do a lot of running around making arrangements, moving peronal items of my grandparents etc... it got quite hectic at times.

So I had a small but certainly very enjoyable celebration; a looong dinner with my family and some friends.

Gifts you say? No knives from family and friends (they know better, I'm very picky:D). As luck would have it my gift to myself arrived just in time; an amazingly beautiful Al Mar Classic Eagle with cocobolo scales. I'll shoot some pics later this week.
