What do you all think of John F. Jensen?

I think he is the best seller of spydies, besides spyderco because he sell spydies for low prices. So Sal what do you think of this?

I just ordered my sister a Pink Delica from John yesterday. I talked to him over the phone, and he seemed like a great guy. He even called me back, [all the way from California] just to make sure he had my last name right. Talk about good service! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Right now I got my eye on a Starmate over there....<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

I have ordered many Spydercos from him with no problems. He is very professional. The only down side is that to get the great prices the Spydie in question has to be discontinued. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

I've ordered a few knives from John. Great service, but as others have said, he can only sell to us discontinued models. For current models, I would definitely suggest going with newgraham.com.

I had found him to be prompt and knowledgeable in his replies to my emails. He does not ship outside the US, so I was unable to actually buy anything through him.

All I can do is cry and search the net for a PE Starmate priced around 95 dollars at a reliable site.

I e-mailed him a few days ago and it took him a few days to get back to me. He said he was having trouble with his internet provider. So hang in there guys, all is well and I'm sure he will be back soon. Call him if you need to place an order. If you don't have the # call information, he lives near San Diego.

For most of my internet purchases I have used ebay with great success. Sawyer's cutlery (username: knifesales) has a great ebay store and they are first rate.

He was good but he just doesn't have the PE Starmate for 95 dollars like John F Jensen.

Mairproducts (cigar47x) however was crappy, I waited 3 months for the SpyderCard and the third month my cousin tracked the money order and discovered it was cashed in the second month of waiting, which meant I waited an extra month for nothing....blah Mairproducts is more expensive anyway.

John Jenson has ben a Spyderco disributor for some time. He has demonstrated honor and fairness in all that I've heard. He does a good job as a distributor, which I know because many of his dealers would rather deal with him that direct.

He grabs discontinued items and sits on them so they can be available to people seeking older Spydercos.

I've heard nothing bad about John Jensen, ever.

Yes - Cox has been a real headache this last week. Email addresses and web sites are not working for many subscribers. Their conversion process from Excite.com to their own system cox.net has not gone well. In fact, the recording on their tech assist phones say something like, &quot;we can't take your calls at this time&quot;. One friend was told by a tier two tech, &quot;it will work itself in a few days&quot;. No one is getting any help. I finally got my www.johnfjensen.com site up and now I'm trying to get our cvhs-1952.com site up. Janet and I sent out 200 letters regards our 50th high school reunion and the recipients aren't able to access our web site - boy that hurts!

Thanks again to each and all and especially to Sal - your support means everything to Janet and I. Without it we would quit this business.
