I've found a few hits that aren't me... poetry sites, russian and spanish horror forums, car forums, gaming sites...

a LOT that refer to this forum via a couple dozen different domains, the other knife forums, cpf, theregister, my local linux group...

I only get a couple hits with my real name that are actually me.

thankfully my ftp doesn't come up on google yet

I didn't use Google, but Copernic turned up a couple of odd things.

From what I believe was a guitar forum: "There is one more section to go. If the Pauls all bang their mugs and shout loud enough, I will also type in the section that follws it, entitled Stan the Man. I have little idea of what obsecure bass player they could be yakking about? Stanley Yablanowitz, the famous two-fingered bassist for the Milton Klafkoff Orchestra, which used to play on the boardwalk in Alantic City in the 1930s? Yowza! Can't wait for that!" I had no idea there was ever a real person by that name.

I got a kick out of this one as well.

When you first step in here, you will notice the balding Rapunsel (She says her
full name is Rapunsel Yablanowitz. o.O) standing outside in a fit of rage,
attempting to keep her hair from growing back. She also has a thick accent,
which adds to the humor. Grab one of the MAGIC BEANS on the ground, and then
use the BOTTLE of "Hair Club for Dragons" on Rapunsel. After she cuts it off,
grab her HAIR from the ground. After that, talk to Rapunsel and she will trade
you her SHEARS for the BOTTLE of hair tonic. Go back to the World Map screen,
and go to the Stadium, which is ther little village-looking place right next to
the home for the Grimly Insane.

I guess she must b my daughter :D

Mine, for some odd reason, turns up mostly references to "men of the cloth". Just hope the fellow who owns thedeacon.com and who, coincidentally, shares the same first name with me  doesn't get too many irate emails regarding knives. :D

Not surprisingly my username turns up a lot of movie-related sites.:D

That Thai forumite, has found his/her way to my pics as well. Since I wasn't contacted about it, and he/she's stealing bandwidth, I don't feel particularly flattered. Glad I marked it as mine though.

Apparently I'm some sort of asian band.

Ironically, I came up with this screen-name off the top of my head.

I chose a number at that time, because I knew it its quite hard to google a person, when all you have is a number only. ;)

It's very scary with the multitude of information out there in cyberspace. Had a guy knock on my door this past Spring from a town about 15 miles away, who wanted a Salt 1 PE before he went on vacation. Had never met him before in my life. He googled SpydieGuys, and wham...he's knocking on my front door. Was glad I had one (made him a great deal, too. Hell, he knows where I freakin' live). I love my customers, but would prefer an email or phone call before knocking on the door!!

I googled my real name a couple of years ago and found a cousin that had, apparently, been the first to escape from Alcatraz. He was called "The Alcatraz Eel." There was a book written about him, and it turns out that we were named after the same person.

I purchased the book, and it seemed he tried to kill himself multiple times, escaped twice, and, after being transferred to Ft. Leavenworth, KS, for 3 weeks, was successful in killing himself.
