Anyone have any experience with either one of these knives? Opinions, pro's, cons, etc.? Not often a non-Spyderco appeals to me but these two have grabbed my attention lately. Thanks in advance!

Hey JBE, I have the Kershaw RAM and do like it very much. It is a very solidly built knife. Super smooth and fast opening, decent blade steel and crazy sharp, can be carried left or right hand side (right side tip-up or tip down). Open Body Construction ... Aluminum handle with G10 inserts for grip and has a lanyard hole.

Back to the opening ... it is a "flipper" and it also has 3 tiny thumbstuds (ambi). The locking mechanism is referred to as the HAWK Lock ... almost like a "bolt lock". It will take some practice to open and close with the lock release in the center of the handle, but is easy to figure out. I like the design and it appears to be a good EDC.

Didn't care much for the M.U.D.D. Design by ZT ... Just to big for my taste. Hopefully someone will chime in that has more experience with the ZT model ;). Hope this helps some :o. Take Good Care and Be Safe Always.

God Bless :)

Link to my short-look at the RAM. (http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,5315.0.html)

I like the RAM a lot. It's the first non-spyderco knife I've EDCed in years. The handle reminds me of the Native.
