I know that Spyderco is currently mired in "SKU hell," producing special sprint runs of the Civilian, Native, and Military, all while gearing up a small horde of new models like the Lum Chinese, Vesuvius, Meerkat, several MBC folders, and no doubt several yet unnamed prototypes in development, but I would like to humbly submit one overlooked but excellent knife for future sprint run consideration: The C16 Wayne Goddard.
It has formerly existed in polished micarta with plain or serrated edges, which were replaced by a 50/50 version, which sprouted junior and baby models, and which now only exists in "lightweight" form.
It was and remains a great working knife design, so I would like to nominate it for a small sprint run, perhaps in a year or two when things are quieter, with G10 handles. Personally I'd like it with olive drab or khaki G10, but black always works (it doesn't show dirt). At least one plain edge (for me <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> ) and with a polished steel clip in the same position as on the lighweight.
Are there any other C16 fans that would support this concept?
