Spyderco questions

Question 1. Is the Jot Singh Khalsa suppose to have a clip?? I just picked one up in a trade, but it is clipless. Just wondering.



Question 2. Will &quot;Goo-be-gone&quot;(or whatever it's called) harm micarta?? I picked up a Shabaria in another trade(<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>) and someone in its past &quot;glued&quot; the clip. Or tried to. The clip comes off, but the glue doesn't look good. I suppose I could always try it and see what happens, but someone has to know. Maybe?? <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

The Khalsa should have a tip-down clip.

Thanks Carlos. Thats what I thought. Well if this one ever had a clip the holes are gone. It's a numbered one. Where they any variants without clips?? It should have a &quot;v&quot;?? right??

Hey Blades. We never made a clipless one. I believe the Jot Khalsa had a standard clip. Keith and Mike in Spyderco Warrantee &amp; Repair might be able to put a new clip on for you. Worth a call.

Thanks for the info Sal. I thought it was weird that it had no clip, but I can't tell where the clip should be. Whoever removed it did a good job. Does anyone have a pic of the clip side??

I found the holes where the screws went. It looks like somebody filled them in, and then &quot;brushed&quot; it to blend it in. Thanks for the help.
