Hey folks,
I've been wanting to pick up a Trance for a long time now. I think it is a really good looking knife. On top of that I think I may pimp it a little bit by polishing the blade and handle and also changing out the main handle scale with some walnut or other type of G-10 or something.
So, if anyone has a picture of a Trance next to some familiar Spydies that would be great. At some point or another I've owned almost every Spydie made so I will get the idea.
My favorite handles right now are the Centofante III/4, Paramilitary, Delica, Salt, Military etc.
I did do a search on "trance" and found lots of reviews and pics of the Trance molested but many of the comparison pictures were no longer visible due to being removed by photobucket or the particular user.
So all shots are welcome, one and all. :)
Thanks in advance for indulging me.

Paul,
Thanks very much. As always, I really appreciate the help.
It looks like the drop point has either a higher flat grind or a full one. But man that reverse tanto looks really kick butt. Hmmm......
I think i'm gonna go with the reverse tanto first.
Is the one directly to the right of the 2nd Trance the M-Type....and the furthest to the right is the Hyper?
:)

:)Glad I could help David. Drop point is full flat grind. Clip point is high flat saber.
One on the far right is the M-Type, second from the right is the Hyper.

LOL. Paul I can't believe that I missed in your picture post you had them listed right under the picture. :D
I'm brain dead today. Thanks though. Looks like I'm gonna have to grab me a clip point.
Thanks :)

Out of curiosity, are all Bokers made in Taiwan? I really like Chad's designs. My CLB Lava is one of my all time favorite :spyder:

No. Some are made in Taiwan (Subcom, Trance, and Keycom), some in China (Hyper, M-Type). Not sure about the DIREKT. Of the fixed blades, Subcom fixed is made here in the USA and I believe the EDIT is made in China.

I love all of cousin Chad's work. In fact he gave me a boxful of them a few months back which I haven't even had a chance to play with. I did promise him a quick review of them all and pics in comparison to each other.
I'll have to get off my buttocks and do that for Mr Daycrawler :D :p

Well I just ordered one (a drop point Trance).
Ordered it off eBay, and funny, when I payed via Paypal it went to Janet LOS BANOS. I wonder if that is his wife, sister, mom, or what? I think it's pretty cool. Hopefully I'm supporting him some way by purchasing from him or a family member or something. :)

Oh awesome. I'm glad to support him directly like that then. I'll have to order some other stuff from them on eBay.
I don't have a Subcom or any others. I think I'll also order a Wharcom and a Subclaw. :)
