Who else is anticipating 10PM on Tuesday?

Final season of The Shield starts this coming Tuesday, 9/2. It has been, far and away, my favorite TV show since it came on air. I'm sad to see it come to an end, but happy that it's given such consistently great quality year in and year out.

Anyone else here a devoted viewer?

I don't have cable, and don't watch "TV" as such, so won't be watching Tuesday night. Do own the first 5 seasons of The Shield on DVD, and plan on getting more, it's a great show.

Personally I can't stand that show. I think Michael Chickenlips is a goob. He's got a huge case of shortman's syndrome. :)

I'm more of a sitcom guy when I watch TV (which is also rare). I like King of Queens, Titus, Scrubs, Grounded for Life, Everybody loves Raymond, etc. I don't like reality shows. I do like some CSI's but that's about it. :)

Deacon - I believe season 6 just came out on DVD either this week or last week. They usually time that release to coincide with the start of the newest run on air.

I was looking through Shield DVD sets at Best Buy a little while back and saw that some of the earlier seasons were redone in new packaging with some new bonus materials. I'd like to check those out but don't know if they're available any other way.
