Like the title says....
On my serrated Millie (ATS-34), three screw clip, lumpy lower choil:
Is the grind angle of the plain edged, single bevel portion of the blade likely 30 or 40 degrees? Or, is it half of that?
I want to know because I may wish to sharpen the other side of the blade to form a double bevel grind, just along this plain edged portion to hopefully simplify or make easier future sharpenings.
Do I need to cut the existing side from 40 degrees from vertical to make it 20 (or 15 - from a total of 30)... or can I just sharpen the "other" side at 20 degrees from vertical and be done?
I hope that this makes sense, although I fear that it may not.
