Hello people, could you tell me if there are any new models coming out this year or if they have already been distributed? I was thinking of getting the military model but it seems that it's out of stock and the sales girl told me that it was out of stock worldwide! How can that be possible? Would anyone care to inform me? Thanks

There are plenty of new models coming out or just been released.
Gunting, Chinook, Lum Chinese Folder, Native Sprint, Moran drop point, just to name a few.
Sorry too much work lately need time off.
I have Militaries in stock and I guess alot of other dealers do also.Drop me a line if you need help with one.

hi Alphahawk. Welcome to the Spyderco forum.

the demand for the Military is greater than our ability to manufacture them. We are trying to increase scheduled production, but this means some other model will acquire the problem. We don't want to reduce quality. this is a difficult model to make right.

We appreciate your concern and question and ask for your patience and support.

hello cutler34,thanks for the update. I guess i should tell you that I live in singapore this should make quite alot of difference as there aren't many knife shops here.Well I think that Spyderco knives are great I had a good look and touch of the calypso jr and rescue model they look pretty good to me. Sal said to be patient and wait? well I will wait but do you have any idea whether the new models will get shipped overseas or do we have to order them before they come? thanks anyway.

We're shipping regularly. You may have to fnd out from your dealer or their distributor whether or not they have ordered any. Some distributors don't like to inventory the more expensive models and wait for an order before ordering from us.
