That is, until they come out with a clearcoat one I can actually use. These are just too nice to scratch up. It is incredibly hard to get the actual shade of blue to show in the scan, better in the high res versions here...

Alas there is no cure for the spyder virus. The only way to alleviate the symptoms is to buy more of them. I will hopefully be receiving my blue lum friday. I can't wait.

Does anyone have 'any' idea what he just said??? ><g>

only kidding, of course.
Anything that helps to protect the fine finish on these are welcome, in deed.

He found a darn hard coating that will protect the almite coating of these awesome knives. It can be applied very thinly. What is it? How much does it cost? Who does it?

I did bug Sal about trying clear Almite coatings some time ago. I think the "Pride" (world knife) will be the first model to try it commerically.

You might want to petition Sal for a clear Almite sprint run of Chinese folders -- though I would wait until the blue ones are sold out. I don't know what the minimum size of an Almite run is.

Carlos,
Isn't it 500, or maybe a 1000. One of the two. I think.

500 is the minimum for FRN. I don't think I've ever heard a minimum stated for an Almite colour run.

Chinook,

Wow. Man, do you EVER take nice pictures! Thanks for posting these, sorry I missed it at the time you put them up.
