gotta love using sick time to actually be sick

Hadn't touched my sick time since I started at this job in June '06 until friday... have over 2 weeks waiting (actually 90-something hours). Find the only problem with never really getting sick is that when you do get sick it hits like a sledge hammer

got somethng last week, started feeling off tuesday, and by friday I'm toast. Congested, rough breathing, got about an hour of sleep thursday night... left work early. 1/2 bottle of benalyn and slept 4hrs, more benalyn and back to sleep till supper. working on buckleys today and actually feel more or less human.

Just love when a cold hits and takes ya out for 5 days

Feel better Vampy...I have not been sick (not even the common cold) for 42 years now....so it's hard for me to relate....But I still feel for you and everyone else who gets hit with illness during change of seasons...seems like everyone around me lately has been coughing and sneezing...Feel better quick...Doc:D

Well, still not 100% today (I'd be lucky to hit 75% :p) but at least I'm at work this morning.
Bottle of painkillers sitting beside the big bottle of buckleys and pack of halls on my bench... that's healthy for yah eh? At least I'm vertical and somewhat functional.

By the looks of it today is just cleanup on a few units from back in august, and then testing a batch from september (just confirm customer complaints, no thought involved).

A trained monkey can do my job most days, so why can't the other 3 techs that I'm training figure out the simple stuff?
