I posted this in another forum about my first impresions...
Well I just got the Mnandi and I'm very happy with it.
For edc it will suit my needs perfectly.
I rarely have any heavy cutting to do and live in the city where the majority of my cutting is opening mail or boxes or maybe cutting up my lunch.
And I like having a knife I can pull out and use in front of people at work or in public without any guilt or worry as to whether I'm scaring them so this fits the bill perfectly.
Another thing I love is the clip looks like you're carrying a pen in the pocket rather than a knife.
I had read some threads where people complained that their Mnandi was difficult to open and I was very suprised to see how easily and smoothly it opened.(Much smoother than my small reg
Sebenza)
Maybe that's due to the fact that it was made on sept 26 of this year and the older ones are stiffer or something.
The Snakewood is beautiful and I'm very glad I paid a little extra and got it rather than the other woods available for less.
Not too mention I googled Snakewood and found out it's the rarest wood in the world, which IMO definitely adds to the coolness factor.
Thanks for listening.

Beautiful! One thing I have always wondered is can you open it with one hand?
Good choice, have fun using it.

Yes you can open with one hand and very easily too.
That little slot towards the spine is pretty deep so it's almost like having a spyder hole.
Thanks for the compliments.
My one complaint is that it isn't as sharp as I would have liked so put around a 20 degree angle on, stropped it and now's it nice sharp!:D

Yes, Mnandi's CAN be opened one handed! I CAN open it one handed.
