"The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional as to how they perceive the Veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their country." George Washington

My thanks to all who have served and to those who serve our nation today. You deserve the best our nation can offer.

Today would be a good day to write your Representative and Senators and let them know today's veterans deserve the best.

I was never in the military myself for various timely reasons. But I do come from a military family and have a lot of uncles and second cousins who were either World War II, Korea & Viet Nam vets. My brother was a big time Marine Corp soldier with a great record.

Even though I disagree with some of the military action our government has taken over the years I have nothing but the utmost respect for our military men and women :)

Most of us civilians have little or no idea at all the sacrifice and the hardships our brave soldiers have gone through protecting this country in times past. When I talk to my remaining World War II relatives I just sit in awe of the stories they tell and price they paid for us. I can only imagine the price that was paid during those times to save us all from world tyranny. Our remaining World War II vets are a National Treasure in my opinion.

May GOD almighty richly bless all of our soldiers on this VETERAN'S DAY

God Bless all who have served, are serving, or paid the ultimate price.

My father in law was a POW for 22 months, and he's still alive and kicking. Good man.

God bless you all.
