Hey samo.

How goes it? Rescue is a great knife for its intended purpose. The sheath looks a little familiar. Hope all is well with you.

Samo,
I like the idea of the sheepfoot blade. Especially around my kids. I almost purchased the Rescue, but my brother got me interested the &quot;Q&quot; knife. Right now I'm awaiting delivery of a sheepfoot Q that I've ordered.
In my daily job I have little need for the point and I feel this would be safer.

hey samo: is it vg-10 blade? mike

Howdy Micheal Frank,

The Rescue Jr is in VG-10 which is more corrosion and wear resistant compared to the ATS-55. I've experienced this with my trusty FB-01 and FB-02 Moran fixed blade.. They handle very well in and out of water without requiring too much care.. One of the benefits of having VG-10 is the ease of maintenance when it comes to sharpening the dulled edge.. Hope this helps dude! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
