*falls out of chair he sat in after being asked if he was sitting*

Looks like I'll have to wait a while for them, but no doubt I will get them.

Mainly because Sal said they could sharpen a butter knife in less than a minute, and I want to sharpen a butter knife

Has anyone used these yet?

Can I get them with a 14k-gold mounting? That way when I'm not sharpening with them, my girlfriend can wear them on her finger. It's almost Valentines Day...

These will sell quickly. I believe the price is what it is because of the process used to produce these. This will no doubt be a must have for sharpmaker enthusiasts. I can't wait to get mine.

Holy cr@p. Those are more than the 204. I will have to wait a while to get those. My 204uf stones are supposed to be in tomorrow. It will be nice to be able to reprofile older knives though.

I did get to use the BLING BLing edition triangles on a wasted C36 and man that thing came right around. I know 89.95 is up there I feel it's worth it if you let you blades get that dull.

A SPYDERCO knife is the most expensive and least effective screwdriver you will ever buy. However, we do have the "bladestretcher " if we need it....

Incase you didn't notice, they are now appearing on the product section of this site

I can see some of my tougher knives quaking with fear in the corner

Is this price something that is likely to go down with time/increased production? (cause that is quite expensive) Would it be possible to coat only one flat and one corner to make them cheaper? How about offering single ones?

Diamonds and diamond dust are not cheap. Neither is the process used to "adhere" the dust to the rods. One stone will not do you much good on the 204, unless you want to switch the rod back and forth for every stroke. As far as cost going down with increased production, it might be a possiblity but do not get your hopes up. My point of advice.....If you don't want to pay the price for the diamonds, don't let your knife get that dull in the first place. I recently used the diamonds on a beat up Endura PS with quite a few deep nics. 20 seconds on the diamonds, and the nics were out and the edge was set. These puppies aggressively take off steel, and on a run down knife work exquisitely. A price of $90......not a bad price considering the final result you can get.
