Any SS Police fans out there? What are your views of this knife?

Police is always my favorite spyderco. I love the ultra slim design which makes it extremely comfortable in your pocket. It's a lot of pleasure whenever I take it out and open it with that beautiful click.

The SS Police is one of, if not my all-time favorite Spyderco. I already have 2 of them, one serrated, one plain. Believe it or not, I'm planning on getting a plain edged VG-10 version when they are out.

The SS Police seems to be popular. It just doesn't look like it would fit well in my hand (I like a choil rather than a fingerguard). Anyone know why the G-10 Lightweight version was discontinued?

OK.....You want a Police fan, you got one!! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> The SS Police model was my first ever Spyderco. Living in the infamous Littleton, CO I made a short drive to Golden and picked one up. The knife just has such a &quot;mean&quot; yet elegant look to it. I picked up the serrated edge for added flare, and I've been a serrated nut ever since. I have used the blade for everything from box cutting and string, right down to tree branches and harder applications. I still own the knife and it still has a special place in my heart. It has been retired from use now because of all my more practical knives for utility use, but it is still a great knife and always will be. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

One other side note.......
The SS Police is now available in VG-10.

Could the Police get any better... It just did with the upgraded steel.
