what do you think of this knife? i have got a wicked pic that I found on south shore knifes, but that is the only time that I have seen/ heard of this little oddity. if any of you have this knife, what do you think about it? probably very well suited to self defense, huh?

Wiley,
I have two-both blade configs: These are awesome lil' knives. Very unique grip and the blade has a warm, smooth, round shape and the tip is very strong. As far as self defense goes, post on the MBC section to get an expert's opinion. But it is very concealable and strong, so I am saying yes.

In the Spyderbook, there is an picture of an old add for this Middle Eastern inspired knife design which depicts a turbin wearing, bearded dude staddling his Khalsa knife as he flies through the air, ala magic carpet riding style, headed across New York Harbor. All the skysrapers are in the background and this dude is headed for a landing somewhere! It is an outdated advert and surely would not see a printing press these days!!!

What a great book and time capsule. Mr. Sharp, If you have fairly small hands, you must have this knive. John Jensen sold me a numbered Khalsa at a great price last year....

I just received one in a trade. It is very easy to open. The hump/hole can not be missed. I was thinking of putting a Traser on the handle and making it my &quot;middle-of-the-night-knife&quot;. Grab it and go. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> Is is a different design, but like all Spyderco's, well made.
