It had a Volcano Grip and a SE edge. I think it was the police model but I'm not sure. What was the handle made of? The blade was about 4 1/2 inches long.

P.S. It did not have a stainless steel handle.

Volcano grip, ~4" blade. Sounds like an FRN Police to me!

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Wouldn't that be an Endura? - Jeff.

Jeff- It couldn't be an Endura, as Enduras only have a 3 and 7/16 blade. Unless, that is, they've made a new one and nobody told me!

The blade length of an endura is 3 15/16.

Maybe its a renegade prototype FRN Police which was accidentally lost to the hands of industrial spies..
4 1/2" is pretty unusual length for an FRN model, smells like a serrated Endura..

J Smith- I must apologize for my murkiness earlier. We are both correct. Total blade length of my Endura, 3 and 15/16. Total sharpened portion, 3 and 7/16.

Thanks for catching my murkiness!

Thats ok.This knife can't be an endura with a 41/2 in blade.I may be wrong but I think that the only Spyderco knife with a blade any were close to that is the catcherman and it is only avalable in 35/75.
