i'm curious if anyone owns one, and what they think of it. looks to me like it might be an affordable FB karambit with a steel that isn't too bad...
i'm also curious about the sheath. neck carry only??

I own one and IMHO I'd say don't waste your money..The design is a good idea..the knife doesn't measure up. The Handle is too thin, the finger holes too large (unless you got King Kong Hands), the spine jimping is worthless, manipulation into different hand positions is awkward and sometimes is hurtful to the finger joints...There are many better made karambits for slightly more money....I wouldn't even classify it as a Karambit, more like a hawkbill with finger holes that wants to be a karambit but falls short in that department, unless you are a contortionist with double jointed wrists. As far as the sheath goes...it's a POS...Cold Steel tried to make it right by making it in their secure-ex type style sheath, which is generally a pretty well made, tight fitting sheath, but this one has a circular tab that also locks it into one the the finger holes...The problem is it is too secure for neck carry..cause you have to fumble and find the circular tab and depress it to release the knife...try doing that fast inside your shirt when SHTF. Not gonna happen...It is a knockoff of the old S&W sheath design found on their HRT(hawkbill) knife (worn by many sky marshals) the difference being is you can tug on the HRT handle and it will slip free of the tab without having to depress it...without breaking the tab...Hope that helps....Doc:D

Doc., IMO, thats not a karambit, is it?
I doubt this would be good for a 'normal' kbit workout.

I tend to agree with you Jano...but you could probably do a few karambit techniques with one....just wouldn't be my knife of choice to do so...Doc:D
