I read a lot of science fiction articles, and I came across the idea of nano cellulose crystals, cellulose is the natural component of wood and plant materials that give it its structural integrity. I cannot entirely explain the methodology at all really. But this material is said to be twice as strong as steel. And maybe available not-too-distant future. It is conceivable that this material might be a blade material in the future. Most death only unsharp rumble by the normal user. But it can be produced in layers bonded in such a way that the old edge could be sloughed off. To produce a new edge.anybody else heard of this material or any other cutting-edge materials that might appear in blades in the future. Just curious there is also for example, and material sometimes used now in which. Kevlar fibers remixed in a carbon fiber matrix. To make an impact resistant carbon fiber like material that may be used in handles, although it is not done so yet. This material does appear in surfboard manufacture now and then.
