Meercat Bladeplay Question

I got one and used it for about 2 days and my Meercat (US model) shows slight up & down play but considerable side to side play. Slight pressure separates the lock bar from the two liners. Blade actuallt rattles if the knife is shaken. I don't think thhis is normal; my limited deduction skills seem to suspect the pivot under the scale. It was a tad loose from day one, but I thought it may be due to Phantom Lock. I love everything about this knife - ergos, lock, shape, feel, etc., everything except the bladeplay, a major pet peeve of mine. My other Spyders don't have any play.



Should this Meercat go back to Spyderco?

This knife definitely should go back to Spyderco. Blade play shouldn't be part of any of Spyderco's knives.
