ok guys i bought what i thougt was the newest model of the delica, when i opened the box it wasnt what i expected, for 1 thing i thought the newest model was ats-55 steel, the tang on mine is marked aus-8a, this knife is not the old model with the nylon clip its mounted with a steel clip with 3 screws..i was under the impression that all new delicas had the hollow screw holding the clip on like my native jr does, is this an old model knife...if so the place is getting it back monday morning..not that anything is wrong with aus-8a...just wanted what i paid for if anyone can help let me know thanks ron

It sounds like the old version with the integral clip broken off. I think Spyderco repaired those clips when they broke off with a 3 screw metal clip. I just got the newest version Delica in VG-10 steel. Very nice knife. I'd return it and get one of those.
