can G-10 be molded like frn? it always seems like it isn't possible, because it looks like it is in a plate form... injection molding?

FRN and G10 are both fiberglass. Only FRN is injectable.
FRN is short fiberglass filaments in a nylon base injected into molds. G10 is a continuous woven fiberglass cloth layered and glued together with epoxy.
G10 can be molded by hand, by laying up indidual sheets of fiberglass cloth into a mold, impregnating it with epoxy, and adding additional layers of cloth, etc. Once you finish layering you "cure" the molded fiberglass composite to produce the finished product. Slow and expensive.
Common G10 handles are cut from standardized flat sheets of G10 laminate. Much less expensive.
