Early Red FRN Clip Endura, Not Trainer!

I ran across an early Endura in G-2, it's all red w/FRN clip. I remember reading in Samo's "Endura rama" thread that these were rare. It's P/E NIB, the price was a little high at 75.00 OTD. I figure it was worth it because it's old. I got "a" box but not the correct one for the knife. The box is right for the year (black) but for a different Endura (PBK- plain edge black). So does anyone think this would detract from the "value" of the knife. I'm going back to try and get the correct box. They also had a Yellow LadyBug, 28.00 seems a little high though!

The Yellow bug is the only one they have and I think I'll be getting it. Sorry! I heard they were only released in Japan. Is this true? If not I'll pass it along to you.

Does anyone know how many all red Enduras were made? I thought the only all reds were trainers or drones.

I thought I should get it at the time but couldn't really afford the Endura. I guess when I go back to find the original box I'll get it.

I ran across a red endura at a gun show a while back for 45.00 but did not get it.Buy the time of the next gun show it was gone.I could kick myself for not getting it but at the time I did not know that there were only 1000 of them made.

Dude ~ There was an &quot;aftermarket&quot; Endura which was checkered in Red or something like that.. But a Red FRN Endura is a rare find if it was ever produced! Sometime in the early 90s, a batch of Olive Drab Enduras were issued to servicemen during the Gulf War.. These are extremely rare! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

This is the real deal. I've seen the black and red checkered one you mention but this is ALL red. I'll try to post pix when-if I can. I hope it's as rare as stated, anyone from S.F.O. with info?

Thanks for the pix! The Endura I have is like image 1. The LadyBug I have is combo edge (PS/E) in a lighter yellow than image 2. The LadyBug you have pictured is P/E only.
