I don't hang around these parts much, but recently I caught a glimpse of the Spyderco ATR.



It is an impressive design. It shows great promise. What's the latest take on this model?



When is it coming out and how much is it going to cost me?

Last updated news I had heard we were starting to get them rolling through production and they might be available as soon as end of year I hope. That thing is "Spyderlious."

Looks like a cross between the Salsa and Progrip, with a Chinook-shaped handle. Any plans for scales or a nested compression lock?

I've already thought about buying one and having some thin G-10 scales attached <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

The ATR is currently scheduled for USA production in S30V.

S30V! Oh yeah!!!!! Thank you Mr. Glesser. I got to see one at last Blade show and fell in love. This will be my EDC for sure.

Any idea of a rough timeline that you would like to see? I know it is much to soon to have anything in concrete but I am sure you have a goal in mind.
