Denmark is usually a quiet place, without criminality. But recently I had an occasion to test the efficacity of my civilian. I was leaving my work-place when I have been acosted by a real lunatic. He was acting to be a dog and try to bite me. I ran out but he was faster and began to tear my clothes. I took my civilian when he was starting to open his trousers and I manage to frighten him before he began to injure me. Police caught him and now he's convicted in a lunatic asylum of Kobenhavn. He was very wanted and you can be proud : without the civilian, he'd probably hurt (and raped?) me and a lot of others peoples. Thank you spydercrew!

Glad you are safe! That is a normal day here in LA; especially down at Venice Beach. That's why I always carry large Milk Bone dog biscuits! The Civie is just a backup to them.

Hi Incubus! Welcome to Spyderland! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Glad to see you're OK. The human mind and body can summon incredible strength and courage when placed in a bad situation.
Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Welcome to the Forum, Incubus.
"Hope for the best. Be prepared for the worst. You'll never be disappointed."
Sadly, that can be all-too-common in many of our cities here in the USA. Not only do we have thugs, murderers, rapists, and maniacs, but they all can be armed very easily, and it's the exception to meet an unarmed assailant.
Glad you got out of that situation unhurt. You had the knife, and knew how to use it, even if you were only using its intimidation value.
