Bought the CF Mil to replace my LUM as my EDC. I've wanted one for some time now. Growing concern that something was going to happen to my LUM had me pull the trigger. Im a wilson combat fan, so I thought it would be fun to try a lanyard for a change. Lanyard is still in route.

Switching between the tip up LUM and tip down Mil might throw me off, and neither have the option to switch the clip around. Another reason for the lanyard, figured it would help me ID which was which when I grab for it.

The carbon fiber is beautiful, as is the entire knife in general. The tip will require care, it's like a needle whereas the LUM is like a railroad spike. These two knives while very similar in ways, are very different.

I am very happy with the new Millie, it definately lives up to its expectations. I'll probably purchase another model for EDC though; I already see myself becoming overly cautious with anything happening to it.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

I think I have an idea as to what Sal had in mind with the Mil?

both are beauties I am a tip up fan myself and that is why my millie does a lot of sitting around. i carried it for a long time then converted to tip up endura but that takes nothing away from the millie. maybe contact STR,i hear that he does conversions to the clips for tip up carry and top notch work
