Based on all the rave reviews found here and at other forums I just ordered my Sharpmaker.
It seems to be a very popular and well liked system. Everyone seems to have one, I hope production can keep up.
As an aside, the participants in this forum always seem to be friendly, helpful and respectful of each other. Its very impressive and a breath of fresh air.
I will check back and let you know how the 204 makes out for me.
Cheers,
Gord.

Hello Gord:
Wellcome to this forum! I am glad you ordered the 204. Once you use it, you will convert to its powers and nothing will be the same

Welcome to the Greatest forum on earth Leemah1!! You won't be disappointed with the 204 sharpmaker. Just make sure to watch the video. 9 times out of 10 when somebody has a question on the system or a problem with it, it is because they didn't watch the video!! Stick around, there is a lot of good info and people here.
Plus if you order from SFO we are including a free green spyderco hat with every purchase of a sharpmaker while supplies last.

Leemah1,
The 204 is awesome! Glad to hear you got it. This is the best forum around, IMHO, enjoy your stay and I hope it's for a long time. This is the best place to learn about Spyderco products and passions.

Here is my promised Sharpmaker report.
I've had my SM for a couple of days now and am duly impressed. After a couple of knives I believe I have got the feel of it. My previous attempts to achieve shaving sharp ended in frustration and confusion. Not any more. After following the 4 easy steps the result is no longer in doubt.
Great, easy to use system. Money well spent.
Gord.
