what do youall think of the G-10 Harpy

i think that the G-10 Harpy is the best knive out there what do you think of this knivel.

I concur.
G10 Harpy is my best friend.
Before I bought this one NIB from a private party, I had been contemplating buying one for awhile, but I wasn't quite content with a SS handle for it's a little slick and prone to minor scratching with EDC/heavy use. I also wanted something a little heavier duty than the FRN scales as on the Harpy Merlin.
Then I heard members on
Bladeforums talk of a G10 version that was once made but no longer in production. Being a big fan of G10's qualities from my experience with Chinook, I knew a Harpy in G10 would be ideal for my needs and tastes. I had to have this version.

The quality of its build is truly impressive.
Ergonomics? Great. I can handle and deploy it almost as fast as my SS Delica.
Size? Perfect. And unobtrusive.
The lockup is very precise and inspires confidence.
The blade fit between the G10 scale and SS liner is the tightest(but not too tight!) and smoothest of all Spyders I've handled. There is absolutely no discernible bladeplay!!
The guy that assembled these deserves a medal.

I'm a local city-to-city freight shipper (driver). My HD cutting needs are many and varied: rope, plastic, cardboard, shrinkwrap, cloth, etc. I would also rely on Harpy to cut myself out of my seatbelt (or someone else's) since I spend so much time on the road.
If the need for defense ever arises, well, needless to say, this knife is already "naughty by nature".
As for its ATS-55 steel, it has remained spotless and sharp w/o much care needed from me. This steel is good.
I will forever curse the day I lose my G10 Harpy.
Hope I never do.
