As you all know i am talking about the lighters :D

This website has some awesome stuff! I was wondering who has a peanut or split pea lighter and how well do they actually hold fuel. I've heard between forever and never works so i need a bit of clarifying. I wont use it regularly (i dont smoke) so it will sit on my keyring til i need it. This would only be used in the worst possible SHTF scene to make a fire. Would you recommend this or another emergency fire starting keychain tool?

It would be carried on my ring with a SE Ladybug, Gerber artifact, and a Fenix E01 (seperate from house/car keys). I was also thinking of adding a monkeyfist of 550 cord as well to complete my SHTF keychain.

I would buy it but I don't smoke so no need. (I have a small flare in my car at all times so that if I ever go camping or whatever and need to make a fire I would use that.)

I have a peanut. For me if I used it on a daily basis it seemed to work well but if I left it for a week or so it wouldn't work and I'd have to refill it and fiddle with it. I think a survival lighter or a fire steel would be better.
