Nope, but I am surrounded by marine science/ diving instructor friends (one of which is a great underwater photographer) so I have been up close to some nice ones.

There is a popular dive spot in Kona that has a resident 13ft tiger shark that circled us last time I dove there, but we went there on purpose to see her. Whenever I am on my friends boat if they spot a shark they all hop in. The first time this happened I was puzzled, but went in too, and then I learned why. They are quite beautiful creatures.

Only one time I was aggressively charged by a galapagos shark, and we all had to hop back on the boat pretty quickly.
