Tomorrow is my wedding day and I just wanted to to say thank you to Sal and the rest of the Spyderco gang. I have had a spyderco in my pocket almost every day since well before I met my bride, but I'll never forget what I carried when I met her. A BG-42 military that I opted to use instead of the jester on my key chain to open a box for her. She passed the first test by not freaking out and was even intrigued by the knife. Later after we started dating it was a FRN dragonfly that I gave her to edc. She carried that up until I gave her a pink delica instead of a promise ring. She cried when I gave it to her, knowing the full meaning behind it. I got her a white dragonfly to carry on our wedding. With my starting a family I won't be able to purchase all of the newest knives but I wanted to thank spyderco for playing such a positive role in my relationship. All the groomsman will be carrying a spyderco in the wedding as groomsman gifts. Sorry if this is rambling but its late and I have a big day ahead of me but I have been thinking of writing this for a while. After a year and a half of edcing a knife my soon to be wife wouldn't even think of parting with hers and because of the quality I know the knives I gave her will last for years to come. Thanks again Spyderco for such a great product.

Very cool.
Check this out. My wife gave me an engraved Delica as a wedding gift on "that day".

Yeah, she's a keeper. I still have some 'splainin' to do when packages show up in the mailbox, but I guess it could be worse:o;):D.

Yes, I realize this is a dead old thread, but I came across it in the archives and thought it was such a great story that I'd bump it.

So did you slip her finger into the spydie hole when you gave her the delica?
