I live in the Las Vegas, NV area and have been trying for months to find a Spyderench to put my hands on and try out. I'm leery about purchasing one online without having been able to try it first. Does anyone know of a retailer in this area that might have one?? Also, are the 50/50 blade and the Spyderedge blade available yet on the Spyderench? I only ever see the plain edge available on websites. Thanks!

AMT~
Try using the "find a dealer" option on the Spyderco website (www.spyderco.com). It will list our dealers in your area AND map you out a route to take to get to them. Bond's House of Cutlery & Tool Shack are two that you can check out.
If you have no luck, we do have them in stock here at SFO and they can be purchased either through the website or through our toll free number...800-828-1925.
The 50/50 combo edges are out there, but we don't have any in stock here at the moment. We do have the SpyderEdge.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

You know, that "find a dealer" option does not seem to work for us poor folk on the Big Island anymore
We are officially "Spyderco-Deprived"
I miss IDB!!!!

Aloha Paani~
So sorry to deprive you of handling your Spydercos Next best thing would be to visit our website. There are a few dealers on Maui and Oahu. So, next time you are there on either island you might want to make a point of visiting one of those dealers.
How's the weather treating you? Just spoke with my daughter, Autumn, and she said you've been having a HUGE storm....38 inches of rain in 24 hours? Egadz! My other half was packing our containor during all of that. If it's any consolation, it's in the 20's here :}
Aloha~
