Is there any news about the 2.nd run - Temperance Jr. in BG-42?

Is the idea with BG-42 abandoned because of the new 'miracle' called S30V?

We have plenty of BG in house at the thickness required. We wanted to make a handle adjustment when we made the steel switch. Things were so busy at the plant that there was not enough time to make new handle so the next run will also be G10 handles and CPM-440V blades.

I think that you are referring to Reeve's switch from BG42 to S30V on the Sebenza, Umfaan, and Mnandi. As far as I know, no one else has done that yet.

I don't know that it's a "switch from one to another" in our case.

We'll be using BG in the Lil' Temperance just because we can. We'll be using S30V in a few Spyderco models in the future. There are also a few other new steels that we're "playing" with, that will more than likely also find their way into some models.

We began the 2nd run of Lil Temperances with CPM440V (S60V) because it was time to start cutting blades and I haven't finished the next handle modifications yet.

Can't wait to see the handle modifications. I'm glad to see that the Lil' Temperance model is evolving and growing. It will be interesting to see where Sal takes this design.

The SE is still planned for. We are so far behind right now on the PE, that we're focusing on a producion increase which will help us get them all out (including trainers).
