dont you wish your camera could do this?:p

This is a photo from the 2009 Inauguration, In which you can see IN FOCUS
The face of each individual in the crowd !!!

You can scan, double click and zoom to any section of the crowd. . . wait a few seconds. . .. and the focus adjusts

The picture was taken with a robotic camera at 1,474 megapixel. (295 times the standard 5 megapixel camera)

Very nice pic.
And very big amount of megapixels:eek:.

On the left side on the pic i found a police man who wears a police armoured vest with a metal folding knife clipped on it;).
Don't think its a spydie but perhabs someone of you knows what knife it is:D.
So the pic is knife related cos we are on a knife forum ofcourse:D.

That is a very cool image. It's kind of misleading though, it was not one 1400 megapixle image it was produced by taking several large megapixle images (in the 20 MP range) and then all spliced together. You can see that some people are cut in two or are missing heads and the like.

I found 12 (well, 11.5 actually?) Hunter orange hats (one was very furry), 6 Hunter Orange hoods, 1 cowboy hat, a pair of legs with no body, a cop blowing his nose, a guy showing his ID to no one while hiding behind a wall, 2 girls trying to text while wearing gloves, a guy missing half of his head, 1 Glock (on a cop), 1 giant metallic horse's patoot, 2 very obvious secret service guys (black coats, black tie, sunglasses), a dog on a rooftop, a super duty Ford van, a guy taking a picture of his own feet, a camera sitting on a railing unattended, a cop that looks like he's fallen asleep while standing up, a guy that's missing his whole left side and part of his right leg, three guys in camo, and way too many cameras to count.

I also think I found bigfoot, a guy with a rifle, your mother, and Waldo :D

That's really cool.

I wish you would have warned us that Hillary was facing the camera. I had just eaten when I found her.

I think the most incredible part of that technology is how fast the pictures load, considering their size. Here's one of the view from "my side" of the Hudson (http://gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=2788), looking across to Albany that 224477 found and sent me.

Thats pretty amazing, but I did find a few people who seemed to have moved during the exposure, they look like the belong in horror movies:eek:
I also found Newt Gingrich sitting next to a guy in a fur hat.

I'm not sure who he is (he looks familiar), but he sure doesn't look happy to be there :p
