does anyone have any pictures of a Stretch 2 SS from different angles.It looks like it has some jimping like a chinook 3.:)

i am a little confused about a stretch 2 SS(stainless steel, right?) the first one was stainless, the 2 was the carbon fiber, the frn hasn't come out yet as far as i know. I have both and the only jimping on either knife is right above the spyderco hole where your thumb would go. The jimpin is bigger toward the handle and gets smaller as it climbs up toward the hole..i hope that makes sense. As for the chinook 3 i dont have it, i have the original and the jimping on that is uniform.

Sorry I am new to the stretch.The version I want is the SS version with the Kraton inserts in the handle.Is this the stretch 1? My Chinook 3 has very sharp jimping on the thumb ramp.It looked like the jimping that I saw in a picture on a stretch was similar. The picture wasn't that great,just curious.:)

Yes, it's similar to that on the Chinook, just a bit less aggressive.

This one started out as a stainless and Kraton Stretch. It was rebuilt by STR with Lignum Vitae scales over titanium liners, but the blade is stock... :)

So that's what the FRN Stretch looks like. I'd seen talk of pics in other threads but never managed to find them.:o Anymore pics out there, Paul?;)

thanks Deacon for the pics.I think i like the jimping on the older models by the pictures.It gives them character.:)
