Considering the fact that I've been accosted by campus police for my Calypso Jr, (thank goodness they didn't notice the FRN CE Native I was carrying in my waistband) a Matriarch or Civvie would get my posterior end in hot water really quickly. I really have no use for a dedicated self-defense weapon, since my Native is almost always within easy reach, usually IWB, and it passes for a utility tool should I ever have to explain it. That defense got me out of a violation with my Calypso Jr. They asked me what it was, and I answered &quot;a tool&quot;. I had my work uniform on (I'm a cook), and the Calypso Jr. looks pretty friendly for a knife, so they let me go with a warning not to misuse it.
