What is this knife like? I found one on ebay but I would like to get a little info about it. Is it similar to the SS handles. It was going for about $50, is that a good price? ?How many of these were made? Is there any more models with the Tuffram handles? BTW, has ever made a knife with Vg-10 steel, SS handle, and under $50? I think it would be a great seller for the people like me that don't want to spend $100+ on every SS Handled Vg-10 knife.

I just used ultra high grit sandpaper to polish four dents out of my brothers new Gerber EZ out jr. Does anybody have this knife? I looked at it and it appeared to be a nice knife. If it had a clip it would be awesome. He got it for $11 dollars so it was a good deal.

Hi Rookie. The Tufram CoPilot is not a common model. Tuffram is a type of anodizing that we used on aluminum handles. It is very strong and has a pleasing gray color.

We probably made about 500 of them. Very nice pieces. The Tuffram was expensive and labor intensive so it was eventually dropped as a process.

It's pretty hard to make a quality knife with VG-10 that would retail for under $50.
