What kind of should I get for my Dad? I was thinking about getting a Card with engraving. Also thinking about a D-fly. Spyderholic, Do you still have the free engraving for spydercards?

Rookie,
Both are nice gifts. What does your Dad like? Do you have an idea what he will use the knife for?

My dad likes classic wood handled folders. I'm trying to convert him to . He will be using it for cutting boxes, opening packages, cutting tape, and other things like that. He wanted a wood handled 3 inch folder but he might go with the dfly. I was thinking of the Card. Is it tough enough for office work. He will need to get a small knife because of his co-workers. How much does it cost to get something engraved. What other small knives should he consider?

From the sound of it, I think a Dragonfly would be better suited for his needs.

Hey man, have you considered the Mouse? I know it is kind of expensive, but it sure packs all the features of a larger knife. I will hopefully be getting mine on the 28th of this month. ( I wish it was sooner... )
Either that, or you might want to try the Toad. For around $68 bucks, you can have a 1 7/16" bladed wonder that would both please your dad, and soothe the worries of even the most knife-aware co-worker.
Of course, the SS Dragonfly is a great knife too. I loooove my CF in PE. I think the PE looks so much more elegant.
So many choices.....Good Luck!
